Job Description:

Mott MacDonald is looking for a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud. This role focuses on user support, troubleshooting, automation, and occasional development tasks.

Mandatory Skills:

✔ Azure Cloud: Hands-on experience in resource management & troubleshooting
✔ Kubernetes: Understanding CRDs & managing containerized applications
✔ Terraform: Writing & maintaining Terraform scripts
✔ Docker: Strong knowledge of container-based deployments
✔ Development: Scripting with Python or Node.js
✔ Databases & Networking: Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL & networking

Good-to-Have Skills:

🔹 Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
🔹 Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor)
🔹 Exposure to Kubernetes package management
🔹 Understanding of cloud security best practices

Key Responsibilities:

✅ User Support: Troubleshoot cloud & container-related issues
✅ Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts for automation tasks
✅ Infrastructure Management: Maintain cloud infra using Terraform & Kubernetes
✅ Container Orchestration: Manage containerized applications efficiently
