Job Description:

Syntax is looking for an Associate Network Engineer to monitor, maintain, and support network infrastructure. The role involves incident management, system administration, network troubleshooting, and collaboration with various teams to ensure optimal network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Network Monitoring & Maintenance – Monitor performance, identify issues, and ensure network health.
✔ Incident Management – Respond to and resolve network incidents within SLAs.
✔ System Administration – Maintain network devices, update firmware, and ensure security.
✔ Collaboration & Communication – Work with internal teams & provide regular updates.
✔ Continuous Improvement – Analyze trends, recommend improvements, and stay updated on new technologies.

Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
✅ 2+ years of experience in network operations.
✅ Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
✅ Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PathSolutions).
✅ Familiarity with networking hardware (Cisco, PaloAlto, Fortinet).
✅ Understanding of ITIL processes & incident management.
✅ Preferred: CCNA, CompTIA Network+; Cloud networking knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Working Conditions:

🕒 Shift-based role (24/7 environment, rotational shifts – 3:30 PM & 7:30 PM IST).
📞 On-call responsibilities for critical issues.
