Job Description:

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer within the Platform as a Service Team at HCL, you will play a critical role in driving cloud-native platform initiatives with a strong focus on Red Hat OpenShift and Microsoft Azure. You will ensure platform security, scalability, and efficiency while working across global teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and deployment of OpenShift clusters with high availability and robust security.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform; manage GitOps pipelines using ArgoCD.
• Enforce security best practices in CI/CD, container security, and access management.
• Work extensively with Azure services: VMs, databases, networking, backups.
• Set up observability tools: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana for proactive monitoring.
• Collaborate with product teams, architects, and cross-functional groups globally.
• Identify and improve DevSecOps methodologies and platform automation.

Required Skills:

• OpenShift expertise (installations, upgrades, troubleshooting)
• Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container orchestration
• Deep experience with Terraform and ArgoCD
• Azure Cloud proficiency (networking, compute, databases)
• CI/CD pipeline automation with security integration
• Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles (IAM, vulnerability scanning)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd (preferred)
• Agile/SAFe work environment experience
• Strong communication & global team collaboration skills

Additional Duties:

• Provide on-call support and perform root cause analysis.
• Resolve support tickets within SLA while maintaining high CSAT.
• Update knowledge bases, train junior analysts, and support team development.
