Job Description:
As an L1 DevOps Engineer at Haptik, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing infrastructure to ensure seamless platform operations. Your role will be crucial in maintaining high performance and reliability across cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize Linux-based environments, preferably Ubuntu.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for infrastructure management.
• Configure and manage networking setups for secure connectivity.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
• Manage version control systems (Git, SVN, GitLab) for efficient code deployment.
• Implement configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Develop automation scripts using Python or Shell.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments.
• Work with databases like MySQL, MSSQL, or MongoDB.
• Use monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana) for system health tracking.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Linux (preferably Ubuntu) and networking concepts.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AMQP servers (RabbitMQ, MQTT) and the ELK Stack.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, and Celery for distributed task management.
• Familiarity with APM tools for performance tracking.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Flexibility for occasional night work to support deployments.
