About the Role

We’re looking for a Backend Developer Intern to join our innovative team and gain hands-on experience in backend development and cloud technologies.

What You’ll Do & Learn

AWS Cloud Services

• Learn to build and maintain AWS Lambda functions
• Use CloudWatch for monitoring
• Understand CloudFormation for infrastructure as code

Backend Development (Node.js)

• Write and maintain Node.js backend services
• Develop and test APIs integrated with AWS

Database Management (DynamoDB & Geospatial Data)

• Work with DynamoDB (NoSQL)
• Understand and manage geospatial data and related queries

Full-Text Search with OpenSearch

• Integrate and optimize OpenSearch
• Manage indexing and querying for large datasets

API Development & Integration

• Build scalable, efficient APIs
• Learn asynchronous API design and testing using tools like Postman

Development Tools

• Use Git, Docker, and VSCode
• Learn professional development best practices

Collaboration

• Work with experienced developers
• Participate in code reviews and team brainstorming sessions

Required Technical Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or Node.js
• Interest in AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch)
• Curiosity about APIs and databases
• Problem-solving mindset and team player attitude
• Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to OpenSearch / Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker or container tools
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
