Position: Junior Network Engineer

Location: India
Job Type: Full-Time

Gruve is seeking a Junior Network Engineer (Technical Support Engineer) with a strong understanding of networks, routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VLAN, BGP, security, and system performance management.
The ideal candidate should also have experience using tools like ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft Platform, Slack, and Nagios monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure availability and optimal performance of system and network services.
• Monitor and maintain installed systems and infrastructure for high reliability.
• Analyze platform behavior and provide performance improvement recommendations.
• Apply knowledge in Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, PPP, Ethernet, VLAN, BGP, EIGRP, ACL, VoIP, and Firewalls.
• Manage IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory efficiently.
• Resolve technical issues and support tickets within defined SLAs.
• Configure and troubleshoot network security and infrastructure components.
• Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date technical documentation.
• Collaborate on infrastructure observability and network monitoring improvements.
• Participate in multi-team technical sessions and ensure effective implementation.

Basic Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/MCA or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Basic understanding of Network/Servers, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi.
• Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in:
  • Routing
  • Switching
  • Firewall management
  • Network & Security Monitoring
  • Internet and IP infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: CCNA / CCNP / CCIE (Added Advantage)
• Experience: 1–2 years in network support or infrastructure management.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
