The Opportunity

As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer (Intermediate), you will be instrumental in building, deploying, and maintaining Salesforce-based solutions tailored for Energy and Utilities companies. You’ll combine Salesforce platform development with DevOps best practices to streamline continuous integration, automation, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodeBuild
  • Develop, maintain, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flows
  • Use Salesforce CLI and OmniStudio Build Tool for deployment automation
  • Manage version control (Git) and implement Git strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to solve issues and improve delivery
  • Customize and configure Salesforce Industry Cloud (Energy & Utilities Cloud preferred)
  • Integrate Salesforce with external APIs and systems
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer code reviews, and retrospectives
  • Document solutions and conduct knowledge transfers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2–4 years experience in Salesforce development
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs
  • Proficient with Git, Salesforce CLI, and automation scripting (e.g., Bash)
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, OmniStudio Developer) are a plus
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with OmniStudio, EPC, and Salesforce Industry Clouds
  • Familiarity with environment management and event-driven architecture
  • Working knowledge of AWS and CI/CD tools such as CodePipeline, CodeDeploy
