Job Description:
GE Aerospace is looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join its Aviation Digital Technology team in Bengaluru. This role provides an opportunity to innovate in cutting-edge aerospace software and collaborate with high-performing teams at one of the world’s leading aviation companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable software using Java, implement version control
• Write clean, testable code
• Collaborate with product owners and internal teams to understand requirements
• Debug, upgrade, and maintain software solutions
• Work on Agile teams using industry best practices

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java and back-end development
• Familiarity with database tools: Hibernate, Spring Data, JPA, JDBC
• Front-end knowledge: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks such as AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS
• Experience with tools like Maven, Gradle, Git, SVN
• Understanding of rules engines (Camel, Drools, JRules)
• Ability to write queries on existing tables and develop web services
