Are you ready to begin your journey in one of the most in-demand IT roles? GBB is hiring a Red Hat Certified Fresher for the position of Linux Engineer. This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in Linux system administration, cloud infrastructure, and open-source server management.
If you’re seeking high-paying Linux system admin fresher jobs, this position will give you practical experience with enterprise servers, web hosting, DevOps practices, and Red Hat-based infrastructures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide support on multiple Linux distributions in live production environments
- Configure and manage essential Linux services: Web, DNS, Email, SSH, FTP
- Administer RedHat/CentOS servers and perform system-level troubleshooting
- Assist in open-source development and integration of network and cloud solutions
- Respond to and resolve customer infrastructure tickets related to Linux platforms
- Deliver 24×7 support during planned maintenance or emergency downtimes
- Be proactive in learning new Linux tools, CLI utilities, and scripting
- Build network documentation and assist with automation scripts for recurring tasks
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of RedHat or CentOS
- Must be Red Hat Certified (RHCSA/RHCE)
- Excellent understanding of Linux shell, commands, and server roles
- Able to handle remote server administration and Linux-based application hosting
- Self-motivated with the ability to learn from documentation and forums
- Willingness to travel when required
- Immediate joiners preferred
