The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) invites online applications for its Summer Internship Program 2025 under the Internship Scheme 2024. This is a Government of India internship opportunity for students pursuing education in food safety, law, IT, commerce, public policy, mass communication, and other allied disciplines.

Who Can Apply?

Only students currently pursuing full-time Graduate/Postgraduate/PG Diploma/B.Tech/BE degrees from recognized institutions in India or abroad in any of the following fields:

Technical/Scientific Fields

• Food Technology, Food Science & Nutrition
• Microbiology, Biochemistry, Dairy Technology
• Agricultural & Horticultural Sciences
• Industrial Microbiology, Toxicology
• Biotechnology, Life Sciences
• Chemistry, Edible Oil Technology
• Food Safety & Quality Assurance

Business & Management Fields

• Business Administration
• Finance, Marketing, Human Resource
• Public Policy, Public Administration
• Taxation Law, Economics, Statistics
• ICT, Entrepreneurship, Psychology

Other Fields

• Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations
• Law (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree)
• Commerce & Equivalent Degrees
• Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering (Only 3rd and 4th Year B.E./B.Tech)

• Minimum: 2 months
• Maximum: 6 months
• Internship starts in July 2025 (Quarter 3)
• No extension of joining date beyond 1 week allowed
