The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Back-End Engineer to build scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure for our healthcare platform. You’ll work closely with the Full-Stack Engineering Lead and contribute to both backend and full-stack development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed, scalable back-end services.
• Build and manage robust APIs for frontend-backend communication.
• Develop and maintain data models using relational or NoSQL databases.
• Implement security protocols to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor system performance and optimize backend processes.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Stay up to date with backend technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of back-end development experience.
• Proficiency in server-side programming (Python, Java, etc.).
• Experience with:
  • Relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • API development (REST or GraphQL)
  • Security best practices
• Clean, well-documented coding habits.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full-stack development experience is a plus.
