Job Description:
FreshToHome is seeking a talented Lead Software Developer to design and develop backend systems for complex business workflows. This role requires strong expertise in Node.js, microservices architecture, and scalable application design, along with mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, performant backend applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to propose technical solutions and own the development lifecycle
• Mentor and lead the team on estimations, design, testing, and troubleshooting
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently and resolve production issues quickly
• Write technical implementation plans and guide lower-level engineers
• Develop product solutions balancing commercial and technical requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and backend services
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design, data structures, and reusable/testable code
• Experience with SQL, database schema design, and query optimization
• Hands-on experience in microservices identification, design, and implementation
• Knowledge of user authentication/authorization across multiple systems
• Proficient with version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems
• Experience or exposure to ORM libraries, Redis, Kafka, AWS preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with distributed systems
