Eligibility Criteria

Students currently pursuing Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or PhD degrees in the following areas are eligible:

• Information Technology
• Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering
• Electrical & Electronic Communication Engineering
• Cyber Security, Information Security, Cyber Forensics
• Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics
• Law: LLB, LLM
• Criminology / Sociology
• Any other relevant field connected to cyberspace, technology, or cybercrime

Only students from top institutions as per National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 are eligible. This includes:

• Top 200 Engineering Institutes
• Top 30 Law Universities/Institutes
• 165 Institutes of National Importance

Selection Process

• Applications will be thoroughly screened by the competent authority.
• Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further process.
• Final selection is at the sole discretion of the Ministry.
• Results will be communicated within 4–5 weeks after the deadline.
