Role Overview

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will automate and secure Foxit’s multi-cloud infrastructure, enabling rapid, reliable, and compliant delivery of applications worldwide. This role integrates:

• Infrastructure automation
• CI/CD optimization

• Vulnerability management
• Observability and monitoring
• AI-enabled operational efficiency

You will work hands-on with container orchestration, IaC, cloud-native tooling, and innovative solutions like AI-powered bots for operations and incident management.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

• Deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm.
• Implement deployment strategies: blue-green, canary, rolling updates.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash for operational efficiency.
• Research and implement AI-driven tools for log analysis and alert management.

CI/CD & Reliability Engineering

• Optimize and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Configure and manage monitoring solutions (Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
• Perform comprehensive log analysis to proactively resolve performance issues.

Security & Compliance

• Apply OWASP Top 10 principles in infrastructure configuration.
• Implement and maintain SAST/DAST tools in CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and optimize WAF rules and network security controls.
• Execute the vulnerability management lifecycle: scanning, assessment, prioritization, remediation.

Required Technical Skills

• Scripting Languages: Python, Bash; basic Java/PHP understanding.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM) – 1+ years hands-on experience.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform; CloudFormation (preferred).
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS); Helm chart management.
• DevOps Practices: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
