Role Summary:

As an Engineer, you will plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, and testing. You’ll play a key role in improving quality, cost, and delivery using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and support production by resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate project/capital equipment proposals and prepare justifications
• Support Manufacturing Supervisors to achieve strategic goals
• Specify and acquire cost-effective factory supplies
• Ensure availability of CNC programs and tooling
• Support operator training on CNC programming and tooling
• Troubleshoot processes to minimize production delays
• Track capital projects and budget compliance
• Recommend innovative tooling/methods to improve throughput and quality
• Enforce safety and environmental compliance
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to a respectful workplace

Requirements:

• Education: BS or BA Degree in a relevant field
• Experience: 0–2 years in a relevant role
• Strong ability to interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and mathematical concepts
• Proficient in safety, maintenance, and procedural documentation
• Strong communication and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Proven cost-reduction achievements in manufacturing
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Advanced mathematical comprehension (geometry, trigonometry, statistics)
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma tools
