Role Overview
We’re looking to add a Junior Engineer – MPDM to our team in Coimbatore. This role supports new product introductions, manages engineering changes, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure product documentation and implementation.
What You’ll Do
- Create part numbers and Approved Vendor Lists (AVLs) in Agile & Baan.
- Download and release customer documents (e.g., product specifications).
- Act as a Change Analyst during NPI phases and implement ECOs.
- Release part lists for new models and track ECO implementations.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders using PLM tools like Agile.
- Collaborate with site process and product engineering teams.
- Work closely with materials and engineering teams on product changes.
- Respond to internal and customer queries related to ECOs.
- Ensure adherence to process metrics and timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E. (EEE/ECE) / M.Sc (Physics / ECS).
- 0–2 years of experience in NPI/ECO within a manufacturing setup (preferably EMS).
- Hands-on experience in:
- NPI (New Product Introduction)
- ECO (Engineering Change Order)
- BOM (Bill of Materials) Management
- PLM tools (Agile or similar)
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- People management and conflict resolution capabilities.
