The role demands strong practical expertise in AWS services, cloud architecture, networking, and automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot cloud issues and implement reliable solutions aligned with AWS best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Compute & Workloads

• Provision, configure, and maintain EC2 instances.
• Optimize EC2 performance and cost.

Load Balancing

• Configure and manage Application Load Balancers (ALB) and Network Load Balancers (NLB) for scalable architectures.

Networking

• Implement and troubleshoot VPC connectivity, cross-account architectures, Security Groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, and routing.
• Design and configure VPCs, public/private subnets, NAT gateways, and VPC peering.

Caching & Databases

• Deploy and maintain Redis (Elasticache) clusters.
• Manage RDS instances (backup, performance tuning, security, maintenance).

Storage

• Configure S3 buckets, lifecycle management, versioning, replication, and access controls.

Monitoring & Logging

• Create monitoring dashboards and alarms using CloudWatch.
• Configure log groups and event-driven automation.

Automation & DevOps

• Build automated alerting workflows using Lambda, SNS, CloudWatch, and EventBridge.
• Support EKS cluster operations and basic Kubernetes deployments.

Security

• Implement and manage AWS WAF for protection against threats and bot traffic.
• Ensure compliance with AWS security best practices.

Other Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain AWS Transfer Family (SFTP).
• Evaluate AWS Savings Plans for cost optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking & cross-account architectures.
• Experience with monitoring, cost optimization, and automation.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and working with AWS EKS.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and performance issues.
• Good scripting skills (Bash/Python preferred).
• AWS Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate are a plus.
