Role Overview:
As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of Fivetran’s cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate across engineering, product, support, and sales teams to enhance deployment pipelines, drive incident response, and maintain infrastructure stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor availability, capacity, and throughput of production infrastructure
• Drive reliability improvements in product roadmap
• Manage incident responses and coordinate fixes for critical bugs
• Automate scalable artifact deployments across environments
• Collaborate with security teams to monitor and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities

Technologies & Tools:

• Cloud Providers: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP)
• Kubernetes: Managed services like EKS, AKS, GKE
• CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, Buildkite, ArgoCD
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible
• Languages & Scripts: Python, Shell, TypeScript, Go, Java
• Databases: Postgres and others
• Cloud Networking: VPNs, Privatelinks, Private Service Connect

Required Skills:

• 2.5+ years experience with SaaS product infrastructure at scale
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge and cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficient in scripting with Python and Shell; bonus for Go, Java
• Experience with Linux OS internals and administration
• Familiarity with cloud networking technologies
• Effective communication and collaborative skills
