About the Role
Fitterfly is seeking a passionate and eager-to-learn Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for candidates who are starting their career in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or cloud engineering and want to work in a fast-paced, modern DevOps setup.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining secure and scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Support CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline)
- Monitor systems for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability
- Help with infrastructure deployments using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline application deployments
- Perform basic infrastructure troubleshooting and environment diagnostics
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS or GCP preferred)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience or exposure to CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins
- Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS)
- Awareness of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Willingness to learn, grow, and solve problems in a DevOps-driven culture
Preferred Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related areas
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
