Finastra is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and create efficient processes, tools, and applications using the latest technologies to enable product teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the DevOps team and manager to test system integrity
• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management processes
• Test implemented designs and build automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
• Handle code deployments across all environments
• Maintain and support cloud infrastructure
• Monitor metrics and identify areas for improvement
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members on development and operations
• Brainstorm and implement innovative ideas to improve development and delivery processes
• Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
• Document and design processes; update existing workflows
• Enhance infrastructure and application development
• Follow company-established best practices and procedures

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in development and operations or related IT fields
• Experience with software development, infrastructure development, or DevOps
• Proficiency in Linux infrastructures, SQL databases (MS SQL, DB2, Oracle)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and scripting languages like Ansible, PHP, Python, Gradle
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies like Azure and AWS
