Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain intercontinental IT networks across six global locations.
• Optimize data center networking, latency, and secure data flow.
• Manage and secure Linux infrastructure using OpenBSD firewalls, VPNs, and leased lines.
• Automate network configurations using Ansible, Python, and open-source DevOps tools.
• Support and monitor ~600 Linux servers (Debian 12, CentOS 8).
• Troubleshoot network performance and ensure uptime and fault tolerance.
• Participate in a rotating on-call support system (one week in five).
• Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Puppet, and cloud orchestration.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Linux system administration and command-line usage.
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Familiarity with:
  • Configuration tools like Ansible, Puppet, Git, Hiera, Facter
  • Monitoring tools like Icinga, Nagios
  • Virtualization via Linux KVM
  • MySQL database administration
  • Switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
• Prior experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, or enterprise networking preferred.
• Understanding of data security protocols and cloud-native architectures.
