Job Description:
As a Software Developer I at FedEx, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-facing features, developing server-side logic and databases, integrating third-party APIs, maintaining version control, conducting testing and debugging, deploying applications, implementing security measures, optimizing performance, and collaborating across teams to ensure high-quality software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement user-facing features for seamless and responsive applications
• Develop server-side logic and databases to support front-end functionalities
• Implement and maintain databases ensuring data integrity and scalability
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services for enhanced application functionality
• Maintain version control systems for codebase management and collaboration
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging for reliability, security, and performance
• Deploy applications and collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD optimization
• Implement security best practices, including authentication and encryption
• Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks for improved scalability
• Document technical specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Skills:

• Expertise in AEM building blocks, including templates, components, and UI dialogs
• Strong knowledge of Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, OSGi services, and AEM deployment
• Proficiency in Java, web development, and content management systems
• Experience with core web technologies like XML, XHTML, JavaScript, JSP, and RESTful APIs
• Deep understanding of AEM foundational concepts, including CRX repository, Apache Sling, and Apache Felix

Additional Skills:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & PC skills
