Job Description

FalconX is a leading institutional digital asset platform bridging the gap between traditional finance and crypto markets. We are hiring experienced professionals to join our Trading Systems Engineering team in Bangalore.

As a Trading System Support Engineer, you'll contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure for crypto trading platforms. You'll play a critical role in improving reliability, latency, and observability of FalconX's core systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and support core trading infrastructure and low-latency systems
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, performance, and observability
• Manage platform deployments using CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
• Handle production incidents, root cause analysis, and postmortems
• Implement rigorous security best practices and data integrity protocols
• Provide operational support and incident triage for internal teams
• Optimize systems for ultra-low latency trading using TCP/IP, UDP, FIX protocol, and multicast
• Maintain robust logging, tracing, and metrics using Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling in Python, Go, or C++

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related technical discipline
• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps roles
• Experience supporting Front Office Trading Platforms or OMS/EMS systems
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals, networking, and bash scripting
• Strong exposure to cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
• Hands-on experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka
• Solid understanding of FIX protocol, order lifecycle, and low-latency infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in electronic trading or crypto trading platforms
• Experience in CI/CD automation and cloud-native tools
• Knowledge of FPGA, GPU acceleration, or high-performance trading strategies
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident/change management
• Knowledge of financial data security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2)
