Job Overview

F-Secure is seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer who is curious, ownership-driven, and passionate about building scalable cloud infrastructure.

In this role, you will design and operate cloud-native backend services on AWS, enhance deployment workflows, solve real-world engineering challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.

This position provides a strong pathway toward advanced roles such as:

• Senior Cloud Engineer
• DevOps Engineer
• Platform Engineer
• Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
• Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and monitor backend services on AWS infrastructure
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Troubleshoot system issues, logs, and production support queries
• Improve development workflows and cloud best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in cloud engineering or backend development
• Strong programming experience in Java (Spring Boot) or Python (Flask, FastAPI)
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
• Exposure to CI/CD tools, Git, and automated deployment workflows
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms

Preferred Skills (High Market Demand)

• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and RDS
• Experience with Kafka or similar message brokers
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit or PyTest
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or StackMan
