Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services with high-performance APIs.
• Develop new services and extend existing ones in a large-scale microservices architecture.
• Conduct unit, functional, integration, and automated testing.
• Ensure performance and scalability while managing cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in service ownership, including potential on-call duties.
• Document technical processes for self-service use.
• Support internal customers through outreach and advocacy.

Requirements

• Strong coding skills in Java or the ability to quickly learn new languages.
• Experience implementing RESTful APIs in scalable cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating distributed systems in AWS.
• 5+ years of experience with a degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong object-oriented design skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Passion for continuous learning and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Python and Scala.
• Knowledge of containerization and AWS deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Kafka, NoSQL/SQL databases, and functional design patterns.
