Job Description
EY GDS is seeking an AWS Cloud Native Engineer to design and implement cloud-native applications and services using AWS technologies. You will collaborate with global teams, drive digital transformation initiatives, and play a crucial role in building scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, DynamoDB, Glue, Redshift, EMR).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Design scalable, secure application architectures on AWS.
• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using ECS, EKS, and AWS Fargate.
• Set up monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Integrate AWS services with external systems.
• Troubleshoot application performance and availability issues.
• Document application design, deployment processes, and configurations.

Required Skills & Experience

• AWS Services: Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, Glue, Redshift, EMR.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code: Experience with AWS CodePipeline, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Security: Strong knowledge of IAM, KMS, and encryption best practices.
• Monitoring & Observability: Experience with CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Container Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and AWS Fargate.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or similar.
• Experience: 3-4 years in an application engineering role focusing on AWS technologies.
• Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile development practices.

Education

• Degree: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
