Company Overview

ExertSense Solutions is expanding its Healthcare Services Technology team and hiring a Junior AWS Cloud Engineer to support a mission-critical Ambulance Booking System going live in January. This role combines cloud operations, security management, API integration, and vendor coordination, offering hands-on exposure to real-time production environments.

The position is on-site at Chennai (Adayar), and requires close collaboration with internal teams and external product vendors.

Role Overview

As a Junior AWS Engineer, you will manage AWS infrastructure, ensure system uptime, oversee IAM security, and support integration tasks for the Diagnostics Lab module and WhatsApp Business API solution.
Your work will be essential during the Go-Live Phase, requiring strong technical ownership and rapid problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Maintenance & Go-Live Support

• Monitor and maintain AWS resources: EC2, RDS, S3, VPC.
• Provide L1/L2 troubleshooting during the January Go-Live phase of the Ambulance Booking System.
• Configure CloudWatch alarms, logs, and dashboards to detect issues proactively.
• Ensure high availability and stability of cloud infrastructure.

2. IAM & Security Management

• Take full ownership of AWS IAM: Roles, Policies, Groups.
• Create, manage, and audit user access for different stakeholders:
  Drivers, End Users, CRM Executives, Management, Operations & Accounting teams.
• Enforce the Principle of Least Privilege for all system access.
• Manage secure credentials and application-level access systems.

3. Vendor Coordination & System Integration

• Act as the primary infrastructure point-of-contact for the product vendor Dr.HMS.
• Support deployment of the Diagnostics Lab module in the AWS environment.
• Coordinate infrastructure changes required for Sanity & Beta Testing.

4. API Development & Automation

• Support API integrations with external Lab Service Providers.
• Design and build the WhatsApp Business API integration to automate booking updates and communication.
• Perform integration testing and ensure smooth data flow.

Required Technical Skills

AWS Skills

• Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and especially IAM (Roles, Policies, Groups).
• Good understanding of VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, API Gateway.

Development & Integration Skills

• Strong skills in Python or Node.js (mandatory for WhatsApp API integration).
• Excellent knowledge of REST APIs, Webhooks, and Integration Testing.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills for vendor coordination.
• Quick problem-solving ability for high-pressure Go-Live scenarios.
• Discipline and punctuality—must work on-site during office hours.

• Knowledge of HIPAA or data privacy standards.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
