Must-Have Skills:

• Databases: MySQL (Top priority), DynamoDB
• Key Skills: Unit testing, code review, design documentation
• Cloud: AWS, Kubernetes (Backup management, performance optimization)
• Scripting: Python, Bash, or Golang

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure reliability, availability, and security of critical database infrastructure (MySQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis).
• Identify and resolve performance and scaling bottlenecks.
• Automate repetitive database operations and develop self-service tools.
• Manage data backup, restore, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to build high-quality internal tools.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience with AWS & Kubernetes.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
• Experience in building and managing distributed datastore infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL & MySQL on AWS.
• Knowledge of Amazon DynamoDB & DAX is a plus.
• Understanding of OS, virtualization, and containerization is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field from a reputed college.
• Experience in developing internal products for engineers.
• Hands-on coding experience with Bash, Python, or Golang.
