Role Overview

We are hiring a Junior Cloud Systems Administrator to support AWS operations, automation, and security compliance.
This role is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of cloud operations experience, a strong foundation in Kubernetes, Linux/Windows systems, and a desire to grow in cloud security and DevOps engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage access to AWS resources and perform key security tasks (IAM role administration, key rotation).
• Automate code deployment and compliance processes using Python or Bash scripting.
• Support Operations & Maintenance (O&M) processes for agency accreditation.
• Create and maintain automation scripts for efficient system management.
• Administer and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (OpenShift, Amazon EKS, etc.).
• Ensure cloud migration and operations align with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in cloud operations.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Kubernetes cluster management.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows system administration.
• Development and scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of cloud compliance, IAM, and automation workflows.

Certification Requirements

Must obtain within 90 days of hire:

• CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or above)

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
