Overview
Esri is seeking an early-career DevOps Engineer to enhance service stability, reduce manual operations, and expand automation capabilities. You’ll gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and observability systems—contributing to the reliability and scalability of key platform services.

This role is perfect for candidates with internship or coursework in cloud engineering and infrastructure-as-code, looking to grow with mentorship from senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain internal developer tools and infrastructure services (Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, SSL)
• Improve service stability via incident response, monitoring, and automation projects
• Assist in Terraform-based deployments, configuration drift tracking, and security checks
• Build scripts and workflows for DevOps tasks (onboarding, compliance, certificate management)
• Implement metrics, alerts, and dashboards for core services
• Collaborate with senior engineers in sprint planning and code reviews

Requirements

• 1+ year in infrastructure automation (Terraform, CI/CD, or scripting with Node, Bash, or Python)
• Familiarity with Linux and basic networking
• Desire to learn cloud-native and DevOps best practices
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS experience (EKS, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch)
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Interest in security automation and platform reliability
• Academic or internship DevOps/cloud projects

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $79,040–$129,792 USD
