Job Description:
Ericsson is hiring DevOps Engineers to work on Ericsson Security Manager (ESM), a security orchestration and management solution for 5G and IoT deployments. The role involves solution integration, customer support, troubleshooting, and deployment in on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Solution Integrator Consultant and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customers.
- Perform installations, deployments, and troubleshooting.
- Handle customer service requests, log and track tickets.
- Work in agile development teams and collaborate with developers and project managers.
- Support security functions and industry standards in Telecom, IoT, and ICT Security.
- Occasionally provide on-call support in different time zones.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, SLES, etc.).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and microservices.
- Scripting skills (Python, Shell, Ansible).
- Understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and Certificate Authority hierarchy.
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift (OCP 4), VMware Tanzu.
- Familiarity with REST API and troubleshooting/debugging techniques.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization (Linux KVM, managing VMs).
- Availability to work 24/7 shifts if required.
- Willingness to travel.
