Job Description:
Epiroc is hiring a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to develop control and display software for mining, drilling, and construction equipment. This is a hybrid role offering competitive salary and global project exposure with opportunities for career growth in automation and AI-enhanced industrial systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software using Codesys V3.5 and Structured Text
• Write efficient code in C, Python, and optionally C++/Linux
• Debug embedded systems and optimize performance
• Collaborate with global teams for machine integration
• Document system requirements and manuals
• Model systems using Matlab and Simulink (optional)

Required Skills:

• 3–6 years of embedded systems development experience
• Proficiency in Codesys V2.3/V3.5, C, C++, and Python
• Strong grasp of OOP in embedded environments
• Experience with real-time systems and hardware integration

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of PWM, ADC, DAC, Digital IO
• Familiarity with CAN, J1939, sensor/actuator interfaces
• Background in mining/construction/automotive control systems
• Problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills
