Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day Linux/Unix system administration.
• Maintain access controls and system security.
• Handle vendor escalations and ensure system uptime and stability.
• Provide troubleshooting and production support for Linux environments.
• Participate in change control processes for infrastructure modifications.
• Automate tasks using Bash/Shell scripting.
• Support application installs, upgrades, and best practices.
• Manage Linux networking, DHCP, DNS, permissions, and ACLs.
• Ensure process compliance and documentation for deployed services.
• Work closely with international teams for system management.
• Participate in on-call rotation and planned activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong Linux/Unix administration experience (RedHat 6/7 preferred).
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting and automation.
• Experience with Ansible, configuration management tools, and ITIL frameworks.
• Knowledge of system performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, RSA).
• Experience with high-availability systems like Oracle RAC.
• Familiarity with Active Directory integration and security access controls.
• Experience in network security practices, clustering, and virtualization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automation tools like Puppet and vRealize Automation.
• Knowledge of Cisco UCS, F5, VMware ESX, and SAN storage.
• Familiarity with database concepts and large-scale patching.
