Role Overview
As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in customer success and cloud reliability. This is not a traditional ticketing role—you will work hands-on with GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes (GKE), microservices, and AI workloads, ensuring performance, security, and uptime across production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Own end-to-end issue resolution, deliver First Meaningful Response (FMR), and meet SLA/SLO targets
• Cloud Operations: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL)
• System Administration: Manage Linux-based environments, log analysis, networking, and access control
• Security & Compliance: Implement and audit cloud security fundamentals (IAM, VPCs, firewall rules)
• Automation: Use Python or Bash scripting to automate tasks and enhance observability
• ITSM Collaboration: Work within Jira / ServiceNow / ITSM frameworks in a 24/7 shift model

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in Cloud Support, SRE, DevOps, or Technical Support roles
• Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• GCP Services: VPC, IAM, GCS, Pub/Sub, Compute Engine
• Containers: Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
• Operating Systems: Linux / Unix administration
• Scripting: Bash or Python
• Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) exposure
• ITSM Tools: Jira Service Management, Zendesk, or ServiceNow
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and customer-first mindset
