About the Position
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure and ensuring system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and manage cloud environments (preferably Azure).
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (preferably AKS).
  • Automation & Scripting: Write PowerShell, Shell scripts, and optionally Python or Golang for automation.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Manage release schedules and patch rollouts through Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Use Prometheus, Grafana, and other tools to monitor infrastructure and resolve issues.
  • Networking & Security: Configure and troubleshoot network, storage, and security settings in cloud environments.
  • Database Management: Write and execute SQL queries for database analysis and issue resolution.
  • API Testing: Use Postman for validating cloud services and integrations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong experience with Linux system administration.
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Proficiency with any major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) — Azure preferred.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep, Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
  • Understanding of Disaster Recovery strategies and high availability solutions.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
  • Azure certifications (AZ104, AZ400) are a plus, but not mandatory.

Nice to Have

  • Networking & Firewalls: VPCs, VPNs, load balancers, DNS management.
  • Observability & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog.
  • Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Backup strategies and failover mechanisms.
