About the Role
eBay is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Java Engineer to join the Marketing Technologies Platform Team, which powers billions of customer communications daily. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to build their careers in Java development, AI-assisted coding, and large-scale backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug clean and efficient Java code under supervision
• Assist in identifying and resolving software bugs
• Participate in unit and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Learn modern development tools and participate in code reviews
• Support and maintain existing Java-based applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience or strong academic/project background in Java development
• Foundational understanding of OOP, data structures, and algorithms
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
