Dunnhumby, a global leader in Customer Data Science, is looking for Associate Software Engineers to join their Media Products team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about solving large-scale problems in retail and consumer analytics through modern software practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance applications using modern technologies
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams using Agile methodologies
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code
• Perform unit testing and participate in automated testing
• Use BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and CI/CD pipelines
• Solve real-time data problems at scale

Required Skills (Essential):

• Good analytical and logical thinking
• Knowledge of Data Structures and OOP concepts
• Hands-on experience with any programming language (C++, Java, Python, C#)
• SQL & NoSQL knowledge
• Understanding of RDBMS concepts
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills (Desirable):

• Web development using ASP.NET MVC, Web API
• JavaScript MVVM frameworks (React preferred)
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jasmine, Enzyme, Karma)

• Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
