Job Responsibilities

• Develop and debug source code for multi-threaded applications running on embedded or Raspberry Pi-based systems.
• Interface with various peripheral devices, including I/O boards and serial communication protocols.
• Collect and document requirements from internal and external clients.
• Design, develop, optimize, and perform performance tuning for custom applications.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with peers during all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Estimate and scope development work accurately.
• Produce comprehensive documentation for code functionality and features.
• Actively participate in requirements analysis and design reviews.
• Perform peer code reviews and recommend improvements for software quality.
• Work with hardware vendors on industrial motherboards, panels, PCBs, and control system boards.
• Support VFD application programming.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to the team effort.
• Perform additional software development duties as required.
• Assist in testing the developed software and support field problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficient in Embedded software development and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with Eclipse IDE and GCC (GNU) compiler.
