Job Description

The role focuses on designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining DevOps solutions. You will be a subject matter expert in DevOps practices and tooling with experience in infrastructure engineering and delivering large-scale, highly available systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build secure CI/CD pipelines for various target systems.
• Develop GitHub Actions to meet technical, business, and security requirements.
• Manage rollout and communications for CI/CD changes.
• Automate manual processes by writing tooling.
• Collaborate with development teams on tooling adoption and pipeline development.
• Ensure best practices in secure CI/CD pipeline creation.
• Develop and roll out Terraform for CI/CD infrastructure management.
• Work closely with the Infrastructure team.

Key Skills

• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration and automated testing.
• Ability to independently learn new technologies.
• Experience with CI platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo, or Travis.
• Proficient in git and development workflows.
• Experience or knowledge of GitHub Enterprise, Helm package manager, and Helm chart design (desirable).
• Strong experience with major cloud platforms (ideally Azure).
• Knowledge of Terraform (desirable).
• Good scripting skills (bash/sh/ksh).
• Coding experience in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience configuring code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube).
• Knowledge of continuous deployment and downtime mitigation techniques.
• Troubleshooting build issues in Node or Python environments.
• Familiarity with private package repositories (npm, PyPi, Nuget).
