Job Description:

Join Dayforce, a global leader in Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), as a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). This role is ideal for early-career engineers passionate about combining software development with infrastructure operations to build scalable, reliable cloud platforms.

As part of Dayforce’s pioneering SRE team, you will contribute to maintaining and enhancing internal tooling that proactively manages system health, automates remediation, and supports seamless service delivery across the global Dayforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain deep knowledge of Dayforce’s cloud infrastructure and application ecosystem
• Assist in improving SRE processes, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
• Develop runbooks and documentation for operational excellence
• Participate in PagerDuty on-call rotations for real-time issue resolution
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build trusted partnerships within the organization

Required Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with at least one object-oriented programming language (C#, Java preferred)
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Basic knowledge of database engines and query languages (MSSQL / TSQL, Postgres / PLSQL preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes is a plus but not mandatory
• Self-starter with a passion to learn and contribute in an evolving environment
