Role Description

Datamatica is hiring a Trainee DevOps Engineer to support infrastructure deployment, automation, and continuous integration processes. This on-site role at the Trivandrum office involves working with cross-functional teams, managing Linux-based systems, and contributing to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
The role is ideal for candidates eager to learn DevOps tools, cloud technologies, automation frameworks, and system administration fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations for deployment and automation.
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring Linux-based systems.
• Participate in continuous integration processes and development workflows.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment operations.
• Troubleshoot system or deployment-related issues under guidance.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and DevOps methodologies.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
• Knowledge of software development workflows and CI processes.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in learning new technologies and tools.
• Basic understanding of networking and cloud computing is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
