Junior DevOps Engineer

Project Overview

The project focuses on supporting and improving CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and system monitoring for a critical enterprise platform. You will help maintain and evolve cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of production systems. This is a great opportunity to work with modern DevOps tools and cloud platforms, gaining practical experience in infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and automation.

You will contribute to optimizing deployment workflows and supporting a reliable release process for ongoing development efforts.

Team

You will be joining a small but growing team (1–10 people), working in close collaboration with experienced developers and tech leads. The team is expanding as the project scales, offering excellent growth opportunities and mentorship support. Responsibilities

• Assist in building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure
• Support CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable software delivery
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Help implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Participate in troubleshooting and incident response
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
• Familiarity with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Exposure to containerization technologies
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
