Key Responsibilities

• Understand embedded system requirements and create low-level designs using UML
• Develop high-quality embedded software aligned with defined software specs
• Perform software integration and rigorous functional testing
• Work within SDLC & Agile Scrum frameworks
• Ensure compliance with MISRA standards and embedded safety protocols

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in Embedded C
• Strong understanding of RTOS and microcontroller architectures (RISC, CISC)
• Experience with CAN protocols (UDS, KWP2000, CANopen, J1939)
• Tools: LDRA, QAC, VectorCAST, SVN, GIT, JIRA, ClearCase, Reqtify
• Familiarity with static code analysis, version control, and traceability
• Design methodologies including UML and software testing lifecycle
• Bonus: Knowledge of Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262) and certification processes
