About the Role:
The Junior Cloud Ops Administrator supports daily cloud operations by monitoring infrastructure, assisting with automation, managing resources, and helping resolve technical issues to ensure secure and reliable system performance. Reporting to the Cloud Ops Leader, you will follow industry standards and cloud best practices while working on projects involving modern cloud environments and web application deployments. This role is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, a growth mindset, and foundational knowledge of cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues.
• Assist in setting up and configuring cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud.
• Manage user identities and access controls using IAM and identity management tools.
• Monitor system performance, alerts, and operational events to maintain uptime and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for processes, incidents, and operational workflows.
• Provide technical support to internal users and stakeholders.
• Develop foundational skills in scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform continuous self-learning on emerging cloud technologies and enterprise best practices.
• Support backup operations and disaster recovery procedures.
• Follow security, compliance, and data privacy standards across cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot cloud services by gathering diagnostics and escalating complex issues.
• Work closely with R&D teams to support ongoing cloud transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, with preference for Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of core cloud concepts including compute, storage, networking, and identity.
• Exposure to scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals and access management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desired Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Azure services or cloud labs.
• Understanding of cloud monitoring, infrastructure support, and operational workflows.
• Ability to quickly learn enterprise cloud tools and technologies.
