About the Role

This is a Cloud / Backend Engineering role within the Falcon Exposure Management team, focused on continuous security configuration assessment and vulnerability management across cloud and hybrid environments.

You will design and build scalable systems that analyze security misconfigurations, compliance gaps, and vulnerability data, assess risk criticality, and automate remediation workflows in near real time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-scale backend services for configuration assessment and vulnerability management
• Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems using Golang or Java
• Work closely with security researchers and vulnerability analysts to resolve time-sensitive production issues
• Collect, normalize, and analyze configuration and vulnerability data sources
• Design backend automation for configuration compliance and vulnerability remediation workflows
• Integrate with AWS/GCP cloud services, relational and distributed databases
• Improve architecture, risk scoring models, system performance, stability, and user experience
• Collaborate with platform and product teams in a global engineering environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Golang or Java development
• Strong experience with relational databases and distributed databases such as Cassandra, Redis, and Elasticsearch
• Exposure to AWS or GCP cloud services and cloud security assessment tools
• Experience delivering high-quality, well-tested, production-ready code
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, vulnerability management, and security configuration assessment
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, SOC 2, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in global, distributed teams
• Commitment to CI/CD best practices, unit testing, and code reviews
