Job Description: Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer will lead, evaluate, implement, and maintain cloud services for an APAC-based Investment Bank, focusing on building scalable and secure cloud-based solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and support complex cloud-based solutions using Azure
• Enable application modernization and migration to Azure
• Automate cloud management using CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Ansible
• Perform Azure SQL and NoSQL database administration
• Drive adoption of new cloud technologies through architectural evaluation
• Implement security controls and ensure compliance with cloud standards
• Support SIT, UAT, and production operations
• Collaborate with teams to build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Manage Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse, and other key components

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Azure services (Azure AD, AKS, Synapse, Cosmos DB, etc.)
• Strong automation skills with PowerShell, Terraform, and Azure DevOps
• Programming skills in Python, GO, PHP, or Bash
• Certifications in Azure (data & analytics, infrastructure & security) are a plus
