🔹 Job Summary:

Couchbase, the leader in modern AI-ready NoSQL databases, is hiring Software Engineers who are passionate about distributed systems, cloud platforms, and AI integration. This role involves contributing to Capella, Couchbase’s flagship cloud database, with a focus on low-latency, scalable systems used by Fortune 100 companies.

🔹 Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance features for Couchbase’s cloud database platform
• Contribute to AI capabilities like vector indexing and intelligent scaling
• Work with QA, support, and field teams for seamless handovers
• Debug critical customer issues and implement fixes
• Deliver tasks end-to-end with high ownership
• Follow coding best practices and open-source standards

🔹 Required Skills:

• Minimum 3+ years of backend development experience
• Expertise in concurrent programming and multithreading
• Strong foundation in OS, networking, and system programming
• Hands-on with backend languages: C/C++, Java, Python, or Golang
• Understanding of database internals and cloud-native platforms
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering
