Role Overview
As a Software Engineering Associate – JAVA (UI/REACT) at Convera, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new software solutions, maintaining existing codebases, and recommending enhancements to improve product performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new software, maintain and enhance existing systems
• Recommend improvements to existing software programs
• Troubleshoot application issues; coordinate resolution across teams
• Collaborate with globally distributed software development teams and service providers
• Independently handle complex projects with minimal supervision

---

Technical Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with Microservices and REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of Design Patterns
• Expertise in Typescript, React, Redux, Angular, and NgRx
• UI development using JavaScript libraries, Angular, and React
• Familiarity with Kendo UI components, state management, and responsive UI design
• Experience with:
  • ReactJS, Hooks, Redux Toolkit, redux-thunk
  • JSX, Babel, npm, yarn, ESLint
  • CSS, JavaScript ES5/ES6, HTML5, TypeScript
• Exposure to AWS Cloud and Shell Scripting
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and prototyping
• Basic CI/CD knowledge (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
• Database experience with PostgreSQL, NoSQL, RDBMS, and Couchbase (plus)
• Familiarity with Agile and Iterative development methodologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and analyze their business applicability
• Experience supporting global, customer-facing production applications
