Role Overview
We are hiring a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our growing team in Chennai. This role involves managing enterprise-grade Azure cloud environments, Kubernetes clusters, and DevOps pipelines, while collaborating with international teams across Europe and USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate Azure cloud environments (single-tenant).
- Deploy, troubleshoot, and secure Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for cloud workloads.
- Work with cross-functional teams to build SaaS cloud architecture.
- Document operational procedures and ensure security compliance.
- Provide support to the global team and ensure customer SLAs are met.
- Maintain DevOps pipelines for automation and scalability.
- Assist in presales, project sizing, and deployment activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in Azure Cloud.
- 1+ year of experience with Kubernetes.
- Hands-on with DevOps pipelines, SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, GitHub, TeamCity, Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Java, C#, Visual Studio, Web Application Development.
- ITIL or Scrum certification is an advantage.
- Experience with Microsoft LogAnalytics.
