Job Description:
Comscore's Product Operations team is hiring a Systems Engineer to monitor and maintain the health of processing environments and support application troubleshooting across Linux and Windows systems.
This role focuses on application monitoring via internal dashboards, identifying and triaging issues, and supporting various global teams through problem-solving, with growth potential over time.
What You’ll Do:
- Tier 1 monitoring and escalation support
- Work with Big Data tools (Hadoop, AWS, Greenplum, Windows)
- Execute and validate ad-hoc job requests
- Collaborate globally with cross-functional teams
- Automate workflows and optimize system efficiency
What You’ll Need:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Understanding of Windows & Linux environments
- Basic SQL and scripting (Python preferred)
- Familiarity with JIRA, GIT, XML
- Analytical mindset and communication skills
- Flexibility to work 24/7 rotational shifts
